Advanced Controlled-Gas Tooling for service-tee renewal and abandonment without the release of natural gas! The Safe-T-Stopper & Safe-TL-Stopper are specifically designed to allow for open gut pipe-type tee, street tee, Mueller No-Blow tee, punch tee, flapper tee, elbow swing joint, and mechanical PE tee removal/abandonment without the release of natural gas.
10 to 15 minute operation! Simply mount the tool over the tee, remove the cap or plug (or drill through the elbow) and set an expandable plug below the branch. Gas to the service line is now stopped and renewal connections can be made. Use the same procedure to perform service cutoffs. It’s that easy!
