The 2CU is McElroy’s solution for small-scale fusion jobs that require a variety of fittings and pipes.
It is designed to butt fuse ½” CTS to 2” IPS (16mm to 60mm) pipes, tees, elbows, and other fittings. The 2CU is compact and durable, featuring corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum surfaces and a variety of accessories.
This combination unit (CU) includes McElroy's patented sidewall feature, which consists of sidewall clamps with a chain vise. This design allows the unit to be attached to the centerline of a main pipe for sidewall fusion of ½" to 2" service saddles, as well as round base branch saddles and small tapping tees. The 2CU is equipped with chain lengths that can clamp up to 8" IPS pipe, and additional chain lengths are available for larger main sizes.
