The Footage C850 Hydraulic Squeeze-Off Tool is specifically designed to safely and effectively squeeze 4" to 8" MDPE and HDPE pipes.
Key features of the C850 include 8-sided, positive-locking, indexable gauge plates and a centering plate that ensures proper alignment. The upward-pointing hydraulic connectors allow for easy access when the tool is situated in a pit.
The moveable carrying handles can turn inward, reducing the tool's width for easy storage and making it easier to work in confined spaces. Locking pins secure the handles in either the inward or outward position using dual plunger pins.
Additional features consist of aircraft-grade aluminum squeeze bars, chrome-plated steel side shafts, and a 10,000 PSI hydraulic system with quick-connect fittings. The innovative lock-in/swing-out bottom bar design provides quick and easy access to the pipe, even in tight spaces, while the lockdown bolts ensure that the squeeze is maintained if the hydraulics are disconnected.
The C850 is supplied with a 10-foot heavy-duty grounding spike to enhance safety during the squeezing process. Custom gauge plates are available upon request.
